Hi does anyone know if the outlander will run on bio , it’s got a VW 2.0 engine I believe, not sure if it has a dpf , cheers

Sure it will if no dpf. Probably best not to bother if it has one. What year is it.

There are some dpf engined vag's that will run on a blend of bio/dino.
A bit of bravery is required here....a bit like the early days of pd engines and crd's.
As Dave eludes to...more info required to profer an opinion.

Thanks for the replies , it’s a 2007 I’m still trying to find out if it has a dpf , a friend is selling it .
I already run a Mazda bongo on bio , but would like to replace my current Range Rover sport Petrol/Lpg “everyday car” To something I can run on bio .
I would prefer an auto , and would like something luxurious, any suggestions welcome

I would have thought it was dpf free. If a mate is selling it...it would surely have had regen issues during his ownership. He would know.
Can you get the engine code. I am making a big assumption that VW supplied engines will still carry the engine identifier. It will be a three letter indicator on the V5
