Maybe make it more straightforward to take advantage of the car crash that is VOD & bring in new members?

RE: new
I've tried to register for the afrementioned site. It requires knowing "What is the name of the test carried out on cooking oil to determine the free fatty acid content?" to register. I don't make biodiesel and all of my attempts have failed despite my research into this.
Anybody help?!

It's a Titration test.

Thanks.
FFS they don't seem to want people to join. I've spent 30 minutes just trying to join. I've been using forums for 15 years now and have never had this much trouble.
Here's what they're asking:
What is the name of the chemical with which a catalyst is mixed when making biodiesel?:Neither KOH nor NaOH work
What is the name of the test carried out on cooking oil to determine the free fatty acid content?: none of the following seem to work>
titration test, titration, realised titration

Those are too cumbersome, you're right.
They used to be simple 'til the bots figured them out. Leave it with me...

Don't make it too easy Tony. They were changed to preclude spammers and have worked well in that respect. They HAVENT precluded many people joining as far as I know. It just takes a little effort to read the question correctly and find the answers on the wiki.
We don't want to go the same route as the VOD!

I agree, VOD is littered with spam, could we have say two bio and two veg questions and you only need to answer two of them?

Ive got one that should beat the bots
What three letters are the abbreviation of a site that regularly exceeds bandwidth in 10 days? :o
