Title: Citroen Relay van fuel pop
Post by: CanidrivE on October 03, 2020, 03:02:10 PM
Hi guys, that made you look into this ? Tell you what it is, on the other post I said about the fuel gauge,  I have moved the van to do some work on it and it involved stripping down the body, when I took the fuel filler cap off I got a "POP" don't know if it was air going in, or rushing out.

I have looked at the pipes coming from the tank 2 of them and just inside the inner wing they come together in an air tight way.  I can not see how the tank is suppose to take a breath  in or out ?

If any one knows about this or knows some one who has a Citroen, Fait, or Peugeot van could you please ask

Dave

Have you checked the fuel cap isn't gunked up?

Caps sometimes have a small hole to vent the tank.  If in doubt leave it loosely attached to let air in, and see if that helps with any running issues.
