Might be good for anyone considering 500l steel vessels as processors? Not the cheapest though.

Is Head Womble sorted pump wise?,probably got half a dozen he found on the common!
Spotted this one but cant find much on it

Not sure, I thought he had a fair old pump already (I've seen the inside of his shed!).
That one on ebay... could be anything. :)

Hehe yeah oddly enough the guy that asked the question at the bottom of the listing... was me!
Shame it is three phase.

the postage is taking the wee wee tho

I also saw that one, I think it's multistage with stainless impellers. Nice bit of kit, if a little on the power hungry side. About hour and a half drive from me. Shame it isn't more local!

No head womble hasn't got another pump as yet,
but I run a 110lpm pump at the mo with an eductor on 180L batch size.
That LOWARA TECHNOSPEED in Godalming is a lovely pump, those inverta driven ones are very pricey when new,
oh and it's not far from me (but closer to Julian) if you need it picking up.
Just had a search and it's 120lpm but set it up right and it'll perform bettor than my one, ummmmmm do I need it.
I will be watching it just in case it goes for silly money,
but in realaty I'm not looking for a new pump as yet, well not until I get another two or three of those 500L beasts.
I have however all but finished my new shed, 13ft x 8ft, it's huge compared to my old one.
-
Bad news on the Lowara; HM and HMZ pumps have technopolymer impellers. Only the HMS has stainless. So best avoided for biodiesel. Shame as it'll go for a song, but what use is a polymer impellered pump to us?

This 140lpm multistager would be tempting as it's all stainless:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOWARA-VERTICAL-MULTISTAGE-PUMP-5SV09-240V-/130712752518
Only trouble is that the datasheet shows EPDM wear rings between the stages, and no mention as to whether these can be changed or not. With bio it would bind the impeller eyes to the diffusers between stages over time.

Anyone bidding?

Not me mate.

Not me. They do go for big money though.
If you get it and it turns out the wear rings are just changeable o-rings I'll be both happy for you and a bit green with pump envy! However I suspect they're built like on the Calpedas so only good for water.
