Post by: GedsJeep on April 14, 2020, 11:34:13 PM

Sadly makes sense.

Rexton is a good vehicle.

I had the PD130 in a Passat and it was a lot of fun.  Beware cambelt change though, you have to take the whole front of the car off.  And look out for water leaks into front footwells.

cheers mate. turns out it was a pd100.

i have been offered a BMW 320d 05 plate as a straight swap for the rexton.

just checking insurance.

body work tatty at the moment but i`ll wrap it to sort that.

PD100 with PD130 turbo and injectors with about 180 brake, six speed box and launch control with a map by Simon Allen.

so slightly modified.

its a highline too with full leather, cruise and heated seats ect

i have a few (3) possibly tam 105 pumps, 2 x 210L steel drums and a dieselmate up for grabs.

offers.

cheers

working like mad delivering mate (for OCADO)

been there 2 years now, good easy job and good money and fixed late shifts.

took a 3 month break to nurse mum as she had throat cancer and lost her at the back end of last year so gone back to volunteering in school to fill up my time during day mate.

lucky during lockdown that i can get out. we cover from lancaster down to bangor and over to accrington so different scenery every day.

Daughter is working as an undertaker during the lockdown and is studying to be a forensic pathologist at uni.

so all in all, everythings good mate. 8)

will try make next years BBB as Lynda keeps shouting at me! ;D

simon allen is collecting the rexton on the 8th so its possible to move the pumps south to telford then..

Is the dieselmate one of those proper noisy vane pumps?  If so I could definitely do with a spare, I use one for 1u filtering my final fuel into 25l drums.  And another would be useful for transfer when I don't want to pollute my 1u filter.

its one of these mate.

i do have a self priming vane pump too, but the wiring needs attention.

Oh, that's completely different from what I pictured.  Going to say no to that one, but if you have a vane pump that needs some love and we can figure out a way to get it vaguely travelling down south then I'd definitely take that off you, thanks.
