Whilst clearing out the barn today I came across this 'cubie"

I cleared out a pile of old cubies a few weeks back and I had about a dozen just like that at the bottom too.

When I saw the title I was going to offer you some of my "rat plugs", but having seen the photo the cubie may be too far gone ...

I don't know what happened to the contents, must have poured them out before it got eaten.

Just on the rat theme, when it's cold and I'm using the thermobile in the polytunnel if I leave the oily rag in the burner dish ready to light that night then the rag goes missing. I've lost loads this winter, the rat takes them and drags them down its hole.

If you fed them they wouldn't be eating your cubbies . Get some rat poison.see if they like it.

We have to be careful with rat poison with keeping geese but I use it wherever I can.
