HELP why do I have to login everytime I come here, I never used to have to.

Hiya, maybe an old cookies thing with the site move.  If you clear your cookies, then next time you login, instead of entering your name and password in the top right corner, click the "login" link and tick "always stay logged in" you should be good to go.

It's the same for most of us since the site move I think.


I find that although it says I'm not logged in, I am actually half logged in and all I need to do is click the login button without entering any details and I become fully logged in.


A bit of a pain in the arse but I can't find a way round it.

when I first come to the site from my bookmark, the login box is there in the top right wanting username/password etc..

but as soon as I click a link, I'm already logged in



at a guess, we're already logged in, and shoring the login box is an error ?

We're only half logged in as we can't see the threads that you need to be logged in to view until after you click the login button.

It's similar on the wiki ,,, no one can edit or add to it.

Tony ... you mentioned just after the move that the issues were most likely caused by the current host using a different type of server.   Would a host change to the right type of server cure the problems if we reverse the changes my mate made to make the wiki visible?

Just been experimenting. I half log out, if I close the site while logged in.
Hit the LOGIN button, and I'm logged right back in again.

Even if I log out properly, then hit the LOGIN button, go the the LOGIN page, log in, and check the KEEP ME LOGGED IN box, I still half log out when I leave the site.

Now it is fully logging me out when I leave the site.
Tried checking the "Keep me logged in" box, still fully logging me out.

Might have found the issue - we all use www.biopowered.co.uk not biopowered.co.uk - I've changed the settings to match this so hopefully that will help!
