Title: stuff for BBB
Post by: knighty on April 30, 2016, 12:51:02 AM
I've got a big set of mirrors to bring to the BBB
and a gazebo for arash

anything else I've forgotten about ?

I've got a bunch of 120 litre clip tops (no clips) if anyone needs some (free)

and a few (4 I think) fans from tumble driers I saw on a customers scrap van so swapped him some dog food for - 240v centrifugal fans in a metal case with a bit of metal duct attached... figured they'd be perfect for oil burners / stove thingies ?  (no use to me but figured they might help out some people here)

I've got a square bit of steel, about 30cm square and 3mm thick... I know it's for someone here but I have no idea who it's for or why I have it? m - I'm sure I was supposed to do something with it but can't remember what :-s

probably some other stuff too when I remember

Wouldn't mind a cupple of clip tops and a fan if it's ok.

Are the mirrors to go on the inside of the gazebo for arash.  Who's a pretty boy then. :)

I intend to bring two cubies of 50/50 bio/kerro. One for the M67 and one for the evenings burner entertainment.

I also have some redundant items of laboratory glassware, free to anyone that wants.

As always the Sandy Brae will be available for anyone that wants some water tests doing.

these are the fans

the 4 of them are slightly different but practically the same

don't look much but must blow a fair bit if they could work a tumble drier ?

(I'll bring aircon kit, forgot about that too!)

I'll count up the drums and stick them all in the van anyway :-)

Have a few pieces of granite about 15"x15" [poor man's surface plate] or cutting board free.

Also some granite strips approximately 6" wide.

fans are all like the pictured ones, I'll ask the same guy if he gets any round ones (he gets them pretty regularly apparently)

oakwood, I'll nab one of the 15x15 bits if that's ok, have been looking at surface plates, one of those would be perfect for what I need :-)

Did you ever add an indexing gauge to it?

My PD machine is now redundant.
