Title: Free to a good home
Post by: 1958steveflying on April 18, 2016, 05:57:35 PM
Having a clear out, I have a 205 ltr clip top cone bottom drum on legs, it has a heating element in it, also an ex Jrl 205ltr twin cone bottomed reactor, not been in service for a few years but with a little effort could be recommissioned. both collection from Woodford Kettering.

Hi sebring, I can get some pics but they wont really show that much as it is wrapped and covered in insulation and will be until I have processed all the oil I have. This is a beautiful professional custom made stainless processor utilising a Jrl venturi, eductor and quad core condensor, running two 110lpm pumps on 2 separate circuits. The water heating circuit is PID controlled as is the oil temperature. I have not decided on the price I will be asking yet but it did cost a bundle ! !

I would just like to thank Steve for his generosity today. It was nice meeting with him and talking bio. He is an absolute top chap.

I agree, Steve came to my place some years ago (before he moved away), always good to meet another brewer.

I forgot to say that I saw Stevens 350L stainless processor while I was there. I don't know wether beauty or beast best describes it, probably both. If I weren't up shit creek with jobs at the mo I would seriously be tempted, although my shed would need a vertical extension. It might be big but to process once every seven weeks for me wow.

Thought I would put up a picture of the processor when I built it with it's twin brother.

Thanks for that bud, will be sad to see it go but unable to continue moving oil drums so will have to go sometime in the future,  mine is the one on the right which makes 350 litre batches.
