I was sent this

Some neat looking containers if you fancy collecting off the neighbours :o
-
Sledgehammer to crack a nut........?
-
Wasn't there a Greek owned company tried to start home based collections a couple of years back ... heard nothing of them since.
They are handy looking containers and probably cost many times the value of the oil they collect. As they are so handy I can see people using them for things other than saving oil and the oil collector having a big bill to replace them.
-
I think you are right about the Greek company, from memory I think it was owned by;
Stavros Triglycerideopolous.
-
I think the guy has found a dropshipper with the product in stock, stuck a website together, and is sitting back to see what happens.
No harm in it, probably hasn't cost him much. If he sells one, he wins.

This particular company has been going a while, they contacted me a few years back with the same stuff
-
Could be working for him, then.
Funnily enough, I've just been asked to do a home collection today. They've got a lot of oil, in three litre bottles, and jam jars.......
I told them I'd give them a veg oil recycling receptacle. (I was trying to sound clever)
They are getting a grubby old five gallon drum........
