Is LDPE resistant to chemical attack from Biodiesel?
I'm looking for a suitable storage tank to store my biodiesel until required.
I have seen plenty of reasonably priced tanks but not sure if LDPE is as good as HDPE for storage purposes.
Thoughts please.

Just done a Google search on ldpe and found this. It's not fuel but it's interesting on the 98% that ldpe is ok hope not ok. Opposite to what I would have said.
Sulfuric acid 60% LDPE / HDPE at 20C°-50C° show little or no damage after 30 days.
Sulfuric acid 98% LDPE at 20C°-50C° shows little or no damage after 30 days. HDPE at 20C° shows effect after 7 days . Not recommended for use at 50C°.
Take a look here. https://www.newpig.com/wcsstore/NewPigUSCatalogAssetStore/Attachment/documents/ccg/LDPE.pdf
Look at Diesel fuel. The code "S" is explained at the bottom.
I wouldn't use it.

I've used one of theses as a final storage tank for several years with no ill effect ...

I think they are MDPE.
Logically LDPE, MDPE and HDPE are all polyethylene of varying densitys, so I'd have thought the major difference is stiffness / strength. Obviously the safest bet is to go with high density.

Julian, I am looking at something very similar but its LDPE rather than HDPE and 1000L. They look very compact which is what I'm after.

with 1000 litres capacity why not get an IBC ?
much cheaper, and safe with bio too

Too big a footprint for my garage. The other tanks are slimline and ideal for against far wall.

Compactness was why I chose it. It sits in a 1000mm wide ally down the side of the house and, when it's not piled up with veg oil drums, there's just enough room to get a builders barrow past.
I drove to Bath to get one cheap second hand, but if you buy new they're quite a price. I checked a couple of sites before posting 'cos I couldn't remember the material, and they said MDPE. They could well be LDPE (they weren't very informative sites ... typical drop shippers) but what ever they are made of it's served me well.
