Title: Cleaning the outside of pumps - brake cleaner? (need to service a few of them)
Post by: julianf on July 11, 2015, 02:07:06 PM
My pile of 'broken' pumps is growing, and i need to get them serviced.
(i think there are 5 in total)

Theyre covered in grime though, and id like to clean them up before starting.

Brake cleaner would do the job fine, i guess, but anyone got any other ideas?

(ill need something that i can spray on, to get into all the cooling fins)

ps. are all brake cleaners the same?  just find one, cheap, off ebay?

Thank you - yes, i had seen it, and it would have been good, had i of thought about it before the BBB...

But, alas, now i think organising transport would be more trouble for evreyone involved than the cost of the fluid.
