Title: When the bio hits the fan
Post by: Tony on June 20, 2015, 03:05:53 PM
My filter pump is running cowling-less at the moment (keep meaning to print a new one), and, well... the discharge pipe popped out of the drum I was filling and you'll never guess where it ended up pointing,

I was covered head to toe, as was everything else in the shed.

I've spent a whole afternoon cleaning up...

Perhaps we should have an annual award for the daftest mistake.

Perhaps we should have an annual award for the daftest mistake.

Our Boat Club had an award for Twat of the Year, the Bent Propeller Award.

I won it in my first year of membership all because of a single radio transmission, sad innit.

That did make me chuckle.
I tipped a five gallon drum of water, or some of it, onto the fan of a D7 once, when I was a kid. I've always been really wary of filling radiators of running engines with water since then. Felt like I was being shot.
