driving along tonight when some delightful little shite threw a brick from the local railway line through the winscreen of the musso.
i did manage to get a grip of them, unfortunately just as the police arrived.
so, i now have a dilemma.
i am buying a rexton on monday, so what to do with the musso.
i WAS going to offer it on here for about £500 or thereabouts. runs on anything, MOT`d till January.
will need 2 x cv boots for MOT, a good clean and seat covers
the windscreen will cost on average £200...
now this thing runs perfectly on 100% crap
no rust, has a new clutch and never lets me down.
so, the dilemma.
put the windscreen in and offer it for £500.
offer it for £300
scrap it as a runner for whatever comes.
thoughts?

Don't most insurance companies cover screen replacement?

most do.
mine is a modified policy and doesnt ::)

Easy option offer it for either then the buyer can make the choice.

Amazing, when a local lass here was getting bashed by her abusive partner and we took her in and called the police they were too busy to turn up. But brick through the windscreen when you've got your paws on the perpetrator, right there.

and because they wouldnt cough which one threw the brick, they cant do owt......
scot free.
thankfully my mate has agreed to sell me his rexton early.
pity i`ll probably end up scrapping it as its a brilliant workhorse. ::)
