Title: 2013 mitsi L200
Post by: GedsJeep on April 04, 2015, 10:26:52 PM
now, got a guy approached me who was told by a bloke that the auto version of this pickup has a different pump to the manual and can handle veg.

now, a bit of digging and the manual has a lucas pump, and the auto has a denso...

now, its a D4D commonrail, so common sense says no.

but.....

could there be any truth?

ive asked for pics of anything fuel related and will post as they arrive.

thoughts?

The picture is of a denso make fuel filter, but that doesn't mean the injection system is necessarily denso too. If its common rail then its twin tank.

Some D4Ds  have a bad enough rep on dino.
A friend did not have a good experience running one on bio.

A mate of mine runs two L200 D4D's, he's had EGR's go regularly, I think at about £160 a go.

He does report increased MPG when running B30 though.
