Yes, read that bit, but I'd call that "stolen diesel".
Aviation fuel is pumped around the countryside in pipes.

We have a 'secret' fuel pipeline under the field below us. I have joked with the service crews that come to inspect it that I will dig a tunnel and drill a small hole in it to get the fuel. They claim it would be detected but perhaps not and that is how they got the fuel. It is allegedly at high presure but as I believe it runs from South Wales to Liverpool area I would not have thought it would be very high.

There's loads of fuel pipelines here in Suffolkshire, you can see the signs on every other road.
They supply all the air bases we have here, RAF, USAF and Civil and no doubt still run to all the war time airfields.
I believe the pipe lines are used to supply distribution centres as well.
