Once again a thoroughly enjoyable day, great to meet up with all the other reprobates.
A massive thanks to Lynda and Chug for putting up with everyone and for providing excellent facilities and their customary, generous hospitality.
I especially appreciated the tea making service, even if the reason was to wind up Jim.
I think everyone was impressed with the sterling effort of "jet engine" fabrication. Can we see it running next year, I'm sure a collective effort could achieve it?
I've been looking back for photos of past events, but the VOD just returns a page saying the forum is undergoing maintenance when i run a search and there are only a few on here. What do people think of having a members only page on the wiki (if that's possible) or on the forum if it's not on which photos can be hosted. I feel they would be more reliably and securely housed on this platform, seems a shame to loose all those memories! Tony ... would that create an issue with server space?

A big thank you to Lynda and Chug for an enjoyable weekend.
Some excellent examples off welding where evident on Saturday.
I wish all those in attendance a safe journey home.

Yet another fantastic weekend courtesy of Lynda, Chug and Marli.
A special thanks to Julian for the amount of time he dedicated to the 3d printer, though he got a special presonal service when it came to cups of tea, hmmm.
It's always great to see everyone, old and new faces, and have natter over a glass or ten of Hyfly's falling down water, a huge thanks to those who brought stuff to play with and watch.
It was, in my opinion, one of the best I've been to.
See you all again next year and in some cases a lot sooner.
-
yeah I would say that too prolly the best one I been to thus far...
thx chug / Lynda brilliant as ever....
nice to see petes new bus and chunders too...
I got pics where we putting them? dedicated thread for BBB 2014 PICS etc ?
-
I've got a load of great pics too - good idea on the pics thread, I just need to sort through all mine - there are loads!
Chug and Lynda sorting the chilli out was a step above and beyond the call of duty. Great hosts and a great weekend!
-
Cheers for a fantastic weekend
Special thanks to Chug Lynda and Mahli for putting up with us all.
Thanks also for keeping the place tidy and helping to sort it out as we left

Thanks to Chug, Lynda, Marhli, Marhli's fella (was told his name but I'm not good with names) and everyone that demoed stuff or just turned up.
Yet another great weekend.
Chug, I substituted the 20L of bio I was going to give you for some oil as Kev had the bio to make sure he got home without paying tax.
For some reason I really enjoyed the card game this year and have something to say, WOMBLES DON'T CHEAT.
Ps. Tony, your oil went to a good home.
Special mention must be made to Arash who gave us much entertainment on Saturday, we even had a viewing area set up.
My trebuchet didn't really work as well as I hopped (mods to be made for next year).

I have pictures from the last three BBBs (although I didn't take any this year). I will add some if we get a page set up

Another big thank you to Lynda and Chug and all the other contributors for making my first BBB such an enjoyable weekend.
It's so nice to see a bunch of like minded people pulling together to provide each other with hospitality, food, demonstrations of slightly mad stuff etc etc and I was stunned by the amount of stuff that changed hands in all directions in the camping field.
I was in such a chilled state by the Sunday that I even stopped at Chorleywood on the way back to the M25 and watched a couple of hours of cricket in the sunshine ... I don't even like cricket!
Well done everyone, see you in the hot tub next year.

That's a good point Jim. I'll definitely attend for the full duration next year, so that I can take notes on what NOT to wear in my dotage.
