hi all
me 406 I think has done its day, its developed a dead short somewhere and cooking wire smell under the bonnet, which has killed the central locking blardy blar... killed a new battery and another in 3 hours, tis abit of an odd one, but the car owes me nothing at all....
glad I got the new 406 estate, which will be taxed tomorrow and insured :)
prolly gonna strip the good bits off and weight it in
its done 68,000 on veg most of that on a sausage filter :)

I only run it for its veg running properties I have no loyalty to the name Peugeot, its all about the veg, truth be known I like mercs / audis, but that said been a good runner and earn ,me some money as does my van, I deffo have no love for a "Peugeot" petrol at all.
no regrets...

It's the diesel engines that I like as well, would never have a petrol Peugeot even if I didn't run bio.

petrol pugs nothing but trouble engine wise, I do like some of the model shapes like the 206 sport, infact was in one today! shit off a shovel spin the wheels stood still, wrong weight power ratio, when it bites like a gokart... but not fa me

Another one bite's the dust :(
My 106 is off to the scrappy today too, driveshaft fell off 23 miles away from home. I'd already decided to scrap it rather than tax it the night before as there was more wrong than right but for £300 it served it's time well.

mine did well cant complain at all, had to chuck a few parts at it through its time, but fair wear and tear I guess...
will be legally driving new 406 today see how she handles

Paul, I have two droplinks that came off SWMBO's old 406, they are this type
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ANTI-ROLL-BAR-ROD-STRUT-STABILISER-DROP-LINK-FRONT-LH-RH-6323-/151174866953?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A406&hash=item2332b96809
the ones with a 90% at the bottom and don't fit the new car.
Will they fit yours, do you want them ?
Will bring to the BBB if you do.
