Yes, still got mine ... somewhere. Fuel tokens. Think they were printed for war use but were issued and not used some years later due to a strike or some sort of fuel supply crises.

The 1973 oil crisis when petrol went up from 5.5p/ltr to 7.7p/ltr, yes that's pence per litre.
I remember it well, I was contracting in those days and drove a MkI Escort and the cost of a fill up went from £2.50 to £3.50.
Being on contract I could get hold of many more tokens than mere mortals.
