What a coincidence you should start a page on the Plumbers Delight! I was rained off my current job yesterday, so made a crimping machine instead ... much more fun!
Do you want a graphic, similar to the one on Graham's page?

In my head yesterday, I was saying to myself "must find some pictures of a plumbers delight being assembled, so that page isn't so dry" :)
Great photos :)
How much time/effort would it take to add a diagram Julian?
-
The photos are really only an adjunct to the page as they deal with making just part of the whole assembly, but I hope they are useful. Alter, delete, rearrange as you see fit.
It's not too much effort to do the diagrams, I usually fit them in between other things rather than bang them out in one hit. I recon a cutaway section (with break lines so it's not too long) showing water and vapour flows along with how the split between the two, top and bottom works. Then an assembly similar to GL's incorporating a parts list. What do you think? Might be able to get a bit done over the weekend.
Don't for get we can use GL's photos provided we credit him (oh, might be an idea to credit him for the design too) ... this is quite a good one

Thanks, but I've since noticed a couple of mistakes with one of the graphics. Difficult to spot, but on reflection someone may find it. If any one can point it out I'll change it!
Let me know if you need any other graphics doing.

I've peered at each one and can't see any mistakes?

nothing major i could spot. must be little....
looks ok

Defiantly defying the laws of physics in one of the diagrams. I'm afraid it's not a shining example of a plumbers delight!

No cooled vapour, just meth
-
Dont file the tee, file the small end

No cooled vapour, just meth
No not the mistake I had in mind, but I did consider showing Methanol drops coming out the end ... do you think that would be worth showing?
-
Dont file the tee, file the small end
See where you're coming from, but not that either. By using the term tee I was referring to the fitting as a whole and there is an arrow indicating where to file.
Looks like most have given up despite the clues in my answers ... perhaps a recap might help someone see the LIGHT (clue) .... SHINING example ... on REFLECTION.
Come on, surely some one must spot it?

top b and d coupling, light is high and low,
site is coming along really well, congrats to all

Spot on, well done!
It's because I replicated and re-orientated various components. Unfortunately the fill changes too.
I'll try and correct it when I get time.
