Ignore him Mark.  This is the worst case of pump envy I've seen in ages ... poor Jim!

Envy, ENVY, don't fink so, not when I got 4 yes 4 brand new still in their boxes Stuart Turner 903's for £75 including postage and a brand new stainless steel two stage high pressure 80 ltr/min for £60.

A part from one ST 903 they're all still sitting on the shelf.

He's getting his knickers in a twist again, using big words that he clearly doesn't fully understand,
as if I think you're powerful, influential or wealthy.

Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow afternoon, give me a ring when you're in the area.

Went to pick up the pump today and it turned out to be ceased.  The motor hummed so it was making the right noises. opened it up and the cast iron body had corroded where it had been stored with water inside.

I wondered if I should ask for a discount due to its non operation, but as it was only eleven quid I thought it was a bit cheeky.  I said I'd take it anywayand the chap said "OK, make it a tenner then".

A couple of minutes work when I got home saw it running perfectly, so a good result and it looks like I may be able to graft it into my system without too much re-piping.

The motor hummed

So what did it smell of?

Stupid boy!  It hummed, I think it was sailing by Rod, quite appropriate as we were on a 60 year old barge on the Thames.

I think it was sailing by Rod.

So why was a TAM120 sailing down the Thames,  whether by a rod or not, was it a metal one?

In anyway, no wonder it was rusty.

That's exactly what the chat bought it for, but he wanted a self priming pump.
