any ideas? switch it on and no heat no visible signs of overload or burnt circuits when take back off heater
-
There's a reset button on the thermostat, it's quite smalland usually next to the temperature control knob.
-
tried that is working again something to do with the switch that operates the pump and heater its not clicking to turn on the heater.
-
may of burnt switch out is it a high rated switch? due to turning on a 3 kw heater and pump
-
the switch is a white box with a knob on it i got it to work again. it operates the pump ok just not turning on the heater.
could it need a new thermostat
-
if you put a test meter on the ends of heater and power is going to it then heater is dead and you have checked reset button also, could be dead yeah try new one
check wiring is still connected all way through to heater
-
thanks got it to work. makes a clicking sound when that turns on both pump and heater are operated by one box could bypass the box and make the heater just plug into a socket by a plug but will check first as u said

I had a problem with mine put muti meter on it {unplugged} heater ok.It was the socket switch contacts that where burnt {arcing}cleaned them now ok.Note to self get a heavy duty one.
