Been corresponding with Julian F this evening.  He sent me a video of a Disco repair ... always a big mistake to look at things on youtube.  It's the similar videos that pop up on the righthand side ... you spend hours looking at other videos.

This time I found a couple of gems.  They'll appeal to all series Land Rover owners and are starting to endorse my desire to fit a winch to the Discovery how useful would this be? ...

My wheel horse sit on mower does all that and it's a damn sight more reliable! :)

Not sure if I'm missing something here but....the vid with the bucket. Apart from going up and downwhat else can it do?

The crane I can see has a use. All land rovers should have a spare engine considering the number of times they go wrong and you're going to need something to get it off the pallet or trailer.

If they go wrong that often shouldn't the crane face the other way?
