Title: Plonker of the week.
Post by: Julian on September 07, 2013, 08:06:30 PM
Can I claim plonker of the week award?

Started filling the processor today and only after a litre or so of oil flooded the floor did I realise that I'd left the drain valve open.  Thank God for tasteful blue mock tile lino.

Oh, and I think I can claim last week's award too.

I couldn't get a colour change on the acid titration for an acid wash, if anything the blue intensified.  Took a couple of days to realise I had use NaOH solution instead of acid ... I'm sure this is an age thing.

We all have areas in which we excel ... mien's being a plonker and it's only fair that I should receive appropriate recognition.

You MAY live to regret that statement.

Sorry Julian but I think I can claim it this week.

I was filling a 20ltr container from one of my filtering barrels and got distracted.
By the time I got back, I had 20ltrs in the container and about 20ltrs overflowed from the container.

Thank god I use spill pallets.

I concede, it's all yours.  Whilst it's my area of excellance, how can I possibly challenge a PGM .. Plonker Grand Master?

Luckily it was captured in the spill pallet so although it took a couple of hours to clean it up, all the oil just went back into the system for re-filtering and I could leave the clean up until following day when I was mentally ready for it  ;D

Nah not a PGM more a TOTW, Twat Of The Week.

Don't mix the two a Plonker is a Plonker and a Twat is a Twat there's a considerable difference between'm.
