Just thought I'd say to some who might appreciate it (wife said yea yea yea...)
Got a call via my website - restaurant opposite one I pick up 20 to 40 litres a month from, called to ask me to come get theirs. How much do you have I says, lots says the lady in broken english at the other end, how much you charge to collect? err nothing, okay when you come.
Go today to get it... 300 litres of the cleanest oil I've had and an agreement to pick up 80 litres a month from now on, all for nowt...

My wife appreciates it when I tell her about another oil haul, I think she's probably just grateful I'm not moaning the cost of fuel ;D
Good to hear about another free collection, seems to have been quite a few recently :)

Strange that all over the country many of us are picking up collections now. It's not cold enough for it to be this summer's have-a-go-ers giving up yet. Something's going on and we've not spotted it yet.

It is rather interesting....I must get myself one of these websites.
One reason could be the price of wholesale WVO. I seem to recall ged on the VOD saying the price had dropped. Also, I've heard that the Bookers rebate of 20ppl has now dropped back to 10ppl. Could be all part of the same situation. Could be barking up the wrong tree as well though.

I think in this part of the world what has helped a lot is the big place at Brentwood burning down 6 months or so ago and a month ago East Anglian oils went bust. They were two of the biggest round here.
