Title: A satelite dish signal

hi all

i keep getting breaking up on my tv through satelite (FreeSAT built in TV box) is there any way i can get rid of this? or boost signal maybe?

You can get amplifiers, but generally they're only needed if you're outside of the freesat footprint.

Check your dish is pointing in the right place and check the skew on your LNB. Normally you can just move the dish around a little with someone inside shouting out the signal strength from the TV screen. Same with the skew.

Not sure about freesat but Sky has a page which shows signal strength

Check dish alignment it must be spot on [ near enough is not ]
If you are still having problems change the LMB [ the bit on the dish ]
High gain LMBs are available get a four output one if one goes down
you have three more available to swap the cable to

maybe damp in lmb, did it start with the recent downpours?

Not sure about freesat but Sky has a page which shows signal strength

weather does seem to effect it and its not on all channels either (just the fricken ones im watching!) grrr

Used the best part of 100 litres. Need another batch on quick, but struggling to get Methanol at a reasonable price. Anyone in Hereford or Leominster likely to do it?
Looks like I might have to take a trip to Weston Super Mare. Don't really want to.
If I was having two 205 litre drums, I could get it delivered for a god price, but I can't really afford that.
