Title: PC repairs!
Post by: nigelb on June 15, 2013, 01:39:29 PM: Is there anyone out there who has the skill and knowledge to make a repair to my laptop once the spare part arrives?

I've been having problems with the dc jack for ages but it's now come to a head where the plug is getting seriously hot and I smelt a bit of burning last night. So I figure it's the dc jack socket. I've ordered one for my acer aspire 7540 but need someone with experience to take my laptop apart and do the exchange.

Can anybody help?

i was lucky well i say lucky i had a video to watch on utube on a how to, but even with this its not nice....
