I'd be interested to know his KOH price, I've yet to experiment with that stuff.  Almost certainly could do with IPA for cleaning if the price is right.

I'd be interested in some good quality IPA ... last lot off ebay was very acidic.

And can he supply conc sulfuric acid?

Interested in both at the right price.

How concentrated do you want it and it what sort of quantity? His IPA has always been of good quality.

I was hoping for a price list today by the end of buisness. I'll give him a nudge tomorrow.

I'll be talking to my man again tomorrow to inform him of the interest (price dependent) and the sales generated. I fully expect him to come down...but it's all about the sales.

I just need his price list now. Anybody interested in paper products...blue roll and the like?

If you still have the orange 25's then returning them would be most useful. They're quite rare now at our place. I can only get the 20lt version now.

Methanol works really well as BBQ lighter fluid as those who went to Photoman290's Cornish BBB can testify - we didn't have any lighter fluid so used some of Bobs methanol for the same purpose.
Lovely pretty blue flames until the charcoal starts going then it's just yellow like normal fluid.

Nige, I would be interested in some of those big blue rolls that you tear the middle tube out of then put in a dispenser and pull the 'tail' out of the bottom - I'm sure you know what I mean.
I have one of those dispensers in the workshop so could do with some rolls .
Depending on price I would be up for half a dozen please

My man can also supply bleaches, disinfectants, floor cleaners etc. pretty much anything chemical related.

I'd definitely take 5l IPA and 5l Acetone, will ponder whether to have 25kg NaOH or KOH too.  Potentially have mates that will want some chems too (one of my friends sets stones in jewellery - held in place with superglue for setting, which is dissolved off afterwards with acetone!)

Thanks Nige,

The acid quantity is a little large, it'll take years to get through that much ... can he do 5 ltrs or 2.5 ltrs?

I don't think so. The smallest he does is a 25. The price is attactive as he decants from a deposited carbouy into a UN 25. Therefore no deposit is required. I will ask though.

However ......... If they are the 200mm wide ones the price seems quite reasonable.

Can we take it that the prices are fixed for orders placed within the next 30 days, but with delivery to the BBB?

I have 7.44lts of 1.32sg battery acid. There is no charge for this. It's stuff that gets thrown out at work periodically and ideal for those who wish to experiment. It's for general distribution but you can have first dibs on as much as you want. It comes in individual vials:
3 x 0.93lts
3 x 0.69lts
3 x 0.6lts

I'm still working on the pink stuff but it looks like a standard disinfectant from info found on various sites.

2 x 5lt of blue stuff is ordered for Paul and Chug. Again, looking on other sites from people selling this stuff...£6.50 for 5lts looks extremely competitive.

Here's the latest:
my supplier can offer the "pink" flush liquid as well as the "blue" sump fluid.

The price inclusive of VAT and delivered to the BBB is £3.50 for 5lts

Let me know

I've just had a message from my supplier informing me that a 25kg bag of KOH has now been reduced to £40. Now that doesn't happen very often. I'll amend the price list.

I think at the most, before the drums get decanted into 25's, there are only a couple of 25's left of ASM. Those who want some delivered free to the BBB need to get their arses in gear now to avoid any disappointment.

Those that are interested I also have 2 x 20lt here at my place from the same batch of 5 drums.

10 x 25 have been accounted for so far.

My supplier is looking at getting to the field around 11am on the Saturday so for most of you it'll be there before you arrive.

No problem GM.

Any other enquires, unless for the 2 x 20lt, will have to go on a reserve list now until the balance is all decanted out.

There are 4 x 25 and 2 x 20 currently available.

Not sure about long term shelf life but kept it somewhere away from the cold during the winter months. There is information on the wiki about ASM

For all those who need to make payments for the chemicals they've ordered can I ask you have the right money available. I wont have any change and I doubt Brett will either. Cheques made payable to Chempac Solutions are fine for those who still have such things. Credit card payments to Chempac is also offered for those wanting to take up that option. Send me a message and I'll give you the details.

12.5 ltrs sulfuric acid shared with Jules
5 or maybe 10 ltrs IPA
A quantity of blue paper rolls
And there may have been a cuddly toy in there somewhere.

I asked much the same question Julian by PM on VOD. I am happy to pay for the acid as my order is somewhat larger (like around £120). You can then just give me the money for however much you want to take.

I'm pretty sure I do have one of those cheque book things around somewhere too although that strikes me as a dangerous thing to take to the BBB.
