Title: N butanol and biodiesel
Post by: Dickjotec on March 27, 2013, 02:20:21 PM
I have just had a question that i can not answer (quite normal for me!)

What would n butanol be used for by a biodiesel producer? They are using 1000+L a week.

Guessing they are using it as a winteriser but it must have some other use as they are producing commercially so don't have the option to add too much to the bio and still pass testing, if they are.

I read it is classed by some as a bio fuel and will run in petrol engines? Is it legal, if duty paid, to use in the UK?
