Unfortunately speed limits are involved, I cant get my buzz on the road anymore since giving up 2 wheel madness.

Only tracks of the dirty. muddy and deeply rutted variety - I suspect that is not what you were meaning though.

Nipping down the autobahn is like a track day for me.

How about a Caterham?  That'd be a decent way to get the adrenaline pump!  Nice and light to drag around too!

A Caterham would sink in that much water.

Can't see the tub sealing that well, sink like a stone once the bow wave comes over the top.

Always liked scoobys. They are not bad on a bit of the rough stuff with some decent rubber.

Cant do the rough stuff with my back unfortunately... So it will be all nice smooth circuits, closest to me being Rockingham and Mallory Park.

Do you need a race licence if you want to do track days? What are the costs involved? I always fancied having a go.

Normal driving licence, car with an Mot, and up to a couple of hundred for an open pit lane track day.
