Title: Wiki upgrade to 1.20.2
Post by: Tony on March 03, 2013, 12:15:13 PM
I'm upgrading the wiki to 1.20.2.

The database is upgraded, all the image files and everything else I believe ported OK, but we have a compatibility problem with some of the skins and, critically, two extensions:

- MetaDescriptionTag
- SMF_auth

The first isn't so important but the second is our forum/wiki authentication bridge, which appears to no longer be compatible with this version of mediawiki.

So I'll have to experiment a bit to get it working, during which you may see errors from the wiki, and most likely won't be able to log into the wiki to edit pages (unless you have a cached session still open).

Edit: Authentication back up and working again, now just to fix MetaDescriptionTag (wiki may show errors during this)

Edit edit: All done - whew!  Running mediawiki 1.20.2

New features (we were on 1.16)

If anyone spots any issues please report them here.

Well done Tony, thanks for all the hard work and effort you put in to keeping us all together on the Wiki.

Yes thanks Tony, I don't even understand half of what you do for the wiki but I'm pretty sure it would be a very different place without you.
